Community Engagement Manager Lucy Dyer Receiving Certificate of Appreciation from Corrections Jan Noblett

Our Geelong and Melbourne programs provide work experience and training, as well as offer a practical approach to help bridge the gap to employment.

From individuals keen to develop their skills, to those in Work for the Dole programs or community corrections programs, Community Veracity has a range of community projects to start you down a pathway towards paid work.

With opportunities in areas including commercial cookery, warehousing, and food processing, through community projects such as Food Hub and recycling programs, our team is committed to helping participants develop their confidence, experience and skills.

It’s about supporting people – through our programs – and the community, with all products made through our commercial cookery program donated to other non-profit organisations for food relief for people in need.

At Community Veracity, we live by our mission: Empower the community for a better change, for the future. And that’s the approach we take with every participant, every program and every community project, every day.

Our Community Connection Hub, with its Job Shop, arms people with information to start making those positive changes in their lives. It provides information for employers and students in areas including work placements, student work experience, jobs, career advice and mentoring.

We work with supportive community partners including Corrections Victoria and SecondBite, Work for the Dole providers and fellow non-profit organisations to deliver our diverse range of programs and projects in Geelong and Melbourne.

If you want to find out more information about our quality community programs or ways you can help by being a volunteer, please don’t hesitate to contact us at Community Veracity.
